The great hospitalitis the hotel staff showed gave us a deep impression.
Location, very helpfull staff ,good food.Very good value for money. Usual FJB. Hotels excellent high standards.
My husband and I are used to visiting Poole to see our son and often have lunch at the Harbour Heights which we always enjoy. This year we decided to stay over the Xmas period and were very comfortable. We are now planning next Xmas at the hotel!
As a Hungarian , I really appreciated to order the breakfast in my mother language :) Otherwise, the room was superb, good quality wooden wall , bed was super comfy, , beautiful bathroom, and the harbour view was fantastic .. We had a fantastic dinner in the AA 2 rosettes restaurant in the hotel as well.
have stayed before.i think the position of the hotel is fantastic lovely view from our room.sea view .
i dont think the evening meal was as good as it has been in the past.the breakfast was exelent.
The quality of the food in the restaurant and the standard of service were particularly high
Bit of a mix up over the booking but resolved without too much difficulty
A really lovely special stay. Staff very friendly & helpful. Service was exceptional - prompt, efficient & friendly. The room was truely 4 star with some very nice touches & a great view over the harbour. Food was superb.
Tables in the resturant were a little too big - so for many people quite a stretch to reach out and talk intimately. Food a tad expensive.
Excellent rooms and the fact that there was 24 hour cover as we arrived at 2.30. A.M. on one occasion. We were dealt wwith efficiently and effortlessly at that time in the morning . Brilliant!
On our first visit we tried to reach them by phone (on a phone number given by Booked.net) and there was no reply. On reaching the hotel at about 5.30 P.M. we discovered there was only one person on Reception and a queue to be dealt with. Directions to the Hotel need to be more specific.
This is a reasonably luxurious hotel to stay with large comfortable rooms. Although some comments have criticised the price off the food in the restaurant I thought it was both very good and quite reasonable. If the weather is good there are a series of terraces outside to eat/drink at, with great views over Poole Harbour.
Excellent and professional staff with a quality restaurant and excellent views close to fantastic beach and harbour resort. The spa facilities offered with sister hotels was excellent and easy to use offering beach location.
The lift was out of service
Usual high quality of the facility
Hotel was not full yet i was in 106 below a very early and noisy guest, given the empty rooms I found that disappointing which along with a squeaky lift ensured a poor nights sleep
Amazing location, brilliant and tolerant staff
Quality of room, general ambience, good choice of food in bistro
Nice friendly stay will come back again I have stayed many times at hotel even worked there as a teenager in 1976-79 under Stephen Lindsay and Paul de Bok and its improving all the time even remember showing lady docker to her room Thanks for hosting me
